  • develop online content that reaches its target audience and delivers the intended message
  • work with clients to identify their goals for a website then design a site structure and graphical interface that will effectively meet those goals
  • evaluate existing sites against stated goals for that site and provide a comprehensive analysis of functionality, interactivity and viewer interface that identifies where/why the site is working and where/why the site is not working

This Health Canada funded mass media marketing initiative included the the development of the exhale.ca website as the centrepiece of its campaign.

The Canadian Health Network (CHN) is a Health Canada funded, bilingual internet portal, designed to collect and catalogue online resources. As one of the founding affiliate directors, Carolyn played a leadership role in defining the structure, policies and process that propelled the project forward as well as developing original online content.

In 1996, Carolyn developed one of the first comprehensive, interactive websites in the ngo sector for the BCCF.

Director, Crackling Communications
1999 to present

Under the umbrella of this self-owned communications company, Carolyn published the book entitled, Are You Losing Control? The Common Sense Guide to Parenting Teens. The book, now nearing 5,000 copies in sales, was primarily marketed through the internet.

Crackling Communications designed and managed this site as well, of course.
